With its two nozzles, the EasyClean® pump fills nail spotters, automatic tapers, flat boxes, and Corner Applicators.Either the filler or the gooseneck adapter is attached to the pump by aligning the slots of the adapter over the studs on the pump housing and tightening the two hex nuts. The gasket should be placed between the pump and the adapter, before tightening nuts, to prevent leakage.
Place the EasyClean® loading pump in a standard five gallon pail, making sure the joint compound is well mixed and lump free. A new or fresh pump should be primed before use by pouring 1/2 cup of water into the outlet. Once the pump is full of joint compound, no further priming is needed.
