The Taper Extension is used to extend the reach of our standard taper by 2 feet.
The Extension is easy to install once the taper butt ring is replaced with the special extension coupler
(included with your Taper Extension).
Attach the Extension to the taper by snapping the two clamps, on the extension, to the butt Extension coupler. The control extension is then wrapped around the taper control tube and snapped tight. Finally, use the snap ring to connect the creaser wheel trigger.
The extended taper is operated the same as the standard taper. Hold the extended taper just below the tape spool and at the butt of the extension. Tape cutting and advancing is performed by using the control extension.
